We also noticed some wear in our packs, but we figure that's the price for such a crazy lightweight pack! Rainier in July 2009. This baby is load-hauler! It can also be pared down, strapped and squished into a reasonable summit pack. I wouldn't mind if Osprey made it a little more bomp-proof; I also have some nicks in the fabric from encounters with rocks and ice tools. Overall, I would still rate it a nine of ten- for comfort, adjustability, carrying capacity and load-stabilizing.
